Indore city
has a vast proliferation of educational
institutions of different communities,
amongst them M.B. Khalsa Education Society
has carved a niche for itself as provider of
quality education both, to the classes as
well as masses of the city.
The members of the community elect the
office bearers of the society. Currently, S.
Charanjeet Singh Saini holds the post of
Chairman of the Education Society along with
S. Jasvant Singh Chhabra as the Vice
Chairman and S. Ranveer Singh Chhabra as the
Secretary.
The Sikh Community had started spreading its
wings in the Malwa Region as early as 1860,
but significant increment in its fame and
fortune peaked by the early 1940s only. The
year 1947 saw hordes of community men
turning towards this city and homing it.
Most of the irnrniqrant shailed people from Mandi
Bahauddin, a hamlet on the offset near
Tehsil Falia, Panjab, Pakistan. The people
from Mandi Bahauddin had established a
Khalsa School there, and as homage, with a
handful of kids in the Gurudwara Imli Sahib
of Indore City, informally seeded the
gigantic Institution that it has become
today.
The State Government formally granted Land
Lease for conducting the Institution at Raj
Mohalla. The M.B. Khalsa Education Society
was formally registered in 1953 under the
Societies Registration Act.
Today more than 6000 students study under
the aegis of the Education Society, which
manage the following Institutions
